KLEN 1806 prevent corrosion by creating a dense physical barrier in the form of a hydrophobic monolayer of chemisorbed molecules on the metal surface. This layer prevents the access of water and oxygen to the surface. It is safe and non-flammable, non-toxic, easy to handle and requires no special precaution to store or use.
Areas of Use
KLEN 1806 replaces conventional ways of preventing rusting by film forming the metal surface. For protection of metal surfaces after acid washing, and many other wide applications in corrosion inhibition. Also, for use in hydrostatic testing.
