Providing expert support to MRT projects locally and internationally with designing of customisable solutions for intensive cleaning and warehousing

JetCan in collaboration with Klenco was awarded the track and tunnel cleaning project for the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya MRT in May 2019.

The project required designing a washing wagon to be capable of a variety of cleaning features through multi-mode system whilst being compact in size.

The final design of the tunnel washing unit is equipped with an industrial high pressure water jetting machine, a detergent sprayer, a high pressure air compressor, on board power generator, water tanks and a system of multiple selectable nozzles for individual cleaning zones.

A combination of effectiveness and being compact – the washing wagon is highly customizable for specific zone cleaning, with the high water pressure optimized for intensive cleaning, all the while being compact and light, enabling it to be used for different operations.

The project was successfully completed in 2021 with JetCan’s contribution of the designing and construction of the washing wagon before handing over to Prasarana.

JetCan was also involved in the designing and supply of the total warehousing project for the KL-Ampang MRT railway line depot. This includes the supply and installation of the racking system, customized pallets, co-storage system, mezzanine floor and 5 German-made MHE equipment.

Similarly, JetCan was also a contributor to the design and supply of similar products in the Singapore MRT Downtown lines.
